Control procurement

Electrical and control RFQs handled around compatibility, ratings and installed system.

Vessel Core supports procurement teams with RFQs for electrical, control, automation and monitoring components used across engine-room and ship equipment.

The request can start from exact part numbers or from module labels, panel photos, wiring drawings, maker/model references, rating data or failed component photos. Compatibility is reviewed before sourcing routes are proposed.

Supported scope

Electrical and control components we can structure into an RFQ.

Coverage for machinery controls, automation spares, panel parts and equipment support.

01

Controllers

Equipment controllers, controller modules and machine-specific control components.

02

Relays

Relays, contactors, timing relays and switching components by rating and function.

03

Switches

Limit switches, pressure/temperature switches, selector switches and panel controls.

04

Control modules

Control cards, modules, interface units and monitoring-related control parts.

05

Monitoring parts

Alarm, monitoring and indication components for engine-room and ship systems.

06

Electric motors

Motor-related spare parts and replacement units by rating and application.

07

Panels

Panel components, indicators, push buttons, labels, meters and internal parts.

08

Automation spares

Automation components, sensors and control spares tied to installed equipment.

What to send

Send enough context to confirm rating, signal and compatibility.

Photos of the label, panel, old part, wiring drawing or module reference can be enough to begin cross-checking when the part number is incomplete.

Electrical RFQ FAQ

Short answers for technical buyers.

Can you quote electrical parts without a part number?

Yes. Send photos of the label, module, panel, wiring drawing, maker/model reference and rating data so the request can be structured.

Can you handle urgent control failures?

Yes. Add vessel / IMO, system criticality, port and ETA. Control and automation faults can be routed as urgent when timing is critical.

Can alternatives be reviewed?

Yes, where compatibility, rating, signal and approval context allow. Electrical alternatives require careful cross-checking before quotation.
