Urgent RFQs need vessel timing and technical evidence in the same message.
When a vessel is waiting, every clarification loop costs time. Vessel Core structures urgent spare parts RFQs around the vessel, port, ETA, installed equipment, part evidence, quantity and required documentation.
A request can start even if the exact part number is missing. Send maker, model, serial number, nameplate photos, component photos, drawings, manual pages or the best available description.
Urgent RFQ workflow
The first objective is to separate technical identification, sourcing route, commercial offer and delivery timing without losing context.
Flag urgency
Mark the RFQ urgent and include port, ETA, deadline and vessel contact or agent details where available.
Attach evidence
Send part numbers, nameplates, photos, drawings, manual pages, Excel lists or damaged-part images.
Review route
OEM and verified alternative sourcing routes are reviewed by approval needs, lead time, documents and equipment criticality.
Align port timing
Availability, packing, dispatch route and delivery handover are considered against the vessel schedule.

Urgent RFQ FAQ
Short answers for buyers preparing a time-sensitive vessel spare parts request.
Can Vessel Core guarantee delivery time?
Lead time and freight options are confirmed at RFQ stage based on part availability, approval route, documents, packing and vessel timing. Vessel Core does not promise blind delivery windows before the RFQ is reviewed.
What if the part number is missing?
Send maker, model, serial number, nameplate photos, drawings, manual pages or component photos. The RFQ can start from the best available evidence.
Should I ask for OEM or alternatives?
If owner or class approval requires OEM, state OEM only. If timing or budget matters and alternatives are acceptable, ask for OEM and verified alternative routes to be reviewed together.
