The generation the family grew from
The Wärtsilä Vasa 32 is where the bore family starts, and plenty of them are still trading. Vasa plates and later Wärtsilä 32 plates are not interchangeable on every line, so the older name on a nameplate is information rather than a detail to normalise away.

The dual-fuel variant
The dual-fuel machine of the same bore. Gas admission valves, their control components and a separate service history sit on top of the diesel engine, so a DF plate is not its diesel namesake with a different label, and a line from the gas side has no diesel part number to fall back on.
